Splendor Ridge Elk Farm began operating in 1993. From the beginning, we have focused heavily on quality breeding stock to not only produce the highest quality breeding cows and bulls, but to also produce big bodied animals for the meat market, high producing velvet bulls and early maturing trophy bulls. We were one of the first farms to utilize artificial insemination over 20 years ago and we continue to bring in the best genetics North America has to offer to complement our herd genetics to reach our goals for each end market. We also now sell semen from several of our own breeding bulls to compliment genetics in other herds as well!
